International Christian Chaplains Association
The International Christian Chaplains Association (ICCA) proudly partners with organizations and institutions that share our mutual vision of elevating spiritual care through education, advocacy, and the promulgation of evidence-based spiritual care. Together with our partners, the ICCA seeks to ensure that more people in need receive quality spiritual care in all types of settings, regardless of religious beliefs or cultural identifications.

Whether you are incorporating chaplain training as part of your organizational structure or including chaplain certification a part of your college curriculum, at ICCA, we can help you achieve your goal. The ICCA training program is excellent for seasoned chaplains or new students enrolling in chaplain certification training for the first time. As a church or ministry organization, you may become an Affiliate Training Institution (ATI) and offer your students the opportunity to earn their Basic Certification as a qualified institutional chaplain.

Provide others an outlet for issues of faith, from end-of-life questions to offering encouragement and hope.

Help your students discover what it means to be a chaplain and their mission. The key to unlocking the door to ministry is to build caring relationships in your community. To convey that you care, you need to build relationships based on trust, which may lead to opportunities for sharing the gospel. Students will gain an understanding of the major components of emergency services, including fire, law enforcement, emergency medical services, and prisons. Through this course, students are introduced to each division’s culture, terms, concepts, and operational procedures.
